With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, and in conjunction with the Armenia Round Table Charitable Foundation, a Rapid Respons Program to aid Syrian Armenians has been launched in Yerevan. The program is being funded by Acting Churches Together (ACT Alliance), an ecumenical network of churches and aid organizations that combine their efforts to address problems and challenges for people affected by poverty and injustice.
The program is designed as a rapid response effort to aid recently relocated Armenians of the Syrian Republic who are now living in Armenia. The purpose of the program is to deliver food, first aid, and hygienic items to the 200 families who are most in need.
The humanitarian aid and food delivery program was launched on 10 December, 2012. The program is first being implemented through the Araratian Pontifical Diocese with the initiation of a “Yerevan City” shopping program. From 11-17 of December the Diocese will distribute special shopping cards to the beneficiary families, which allows them to obtain basic necessities from the “Yerevan City” city stores.
The staffs of the Armenia Round Table and the Diocese will also make individual home visits during which they will assess the needs of the family as well as will provide the families with spiritual support.

Էջմիածին Կը Սկսի Սուրիահայութեան Օժանդակելու Ծրագիրի
ԷՋՄԻԱԾԻՆ, «Արմինիա Նաու» – Էջմիածինի մէջ գործող կազմակերպութիւնը նախաձեռնած է արագ արձագանգման ծրագիրի՝ Հայաստանի մէջ ապաստանած սուրիահայերուն օգնելու նպատակով: Հայաստանեան «Կլոր սեղան» միջեկեղեցական հիմնադրամը՝ Գարեգին Բ. Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսին օրհնութեամբ եւ «Եկեղեցիների համատեղ գործողութիւն» կառոյցի ֆինանսաւորմամբ, արագ արձագանգման ծրագիրով կը միտի սնունդ եւ հիմնական անհրաժեշտութեան առարկաներ տրամադրել կարիքաւոր 200 ընտանիքներու:
Մայր աթոռի տեղեկատուական կեդրոնին համաձայն, մարդասիրական օգնութեան եւ պարէնային ծրագիրի մեկնարկը տրուած է 10 Դեկտեմբերին: Ծրագիրը կ՛իրականանայ Արարատեան Հայրապետական թեմին հետ համագործակցաբար: Նախաձեռնութեան իր զօրակցութիւնը յայտնած է նաեւ մայրաքաղաքի մեծ հանրային առեւտուրի «Երեւան սիթի» ցանցը: 11-17 Դեկտեմբերին թեմի առաջնորդարանին մէջ հիմնադրամը այս ծրագիրէն օգտուող ընտանիքներուն պիտի տրամադրէ յատուկ տոմսեր, որոնցմով կարելի պիտի ըլլայ որոշ պարբերականութեամբ անհրաժեշտ գնումներ կատարել «Երեւան սիթի» խանութներէն:
Բացի ատկէ, «Կլոր սեղան»ի աշխատակիցներն ու թեմի հոգեւորականները պիտի կատարեն տնային այցելութիւններ, որոնց ընթացքին պիտի ծանօթանան այդ ընտանիքներուն կարիքներուն, որպէսզի ատոր հիման վրայ նաեւ հոգեւոր աջակցութիւն ցուցաբերուի:
