WATERTOWN, Mass. - In response to the plight of Syria's Armenian communities, and to provide much needed humanitarian assistance, the Greater Boston community on Sat., April 20, will hold a Benefit Concert for the Syrian Armenian Relief Fund (SARF). The event is to begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Museum of our National Heritage, 33 Marrett Rd., Lexington and will feature internationally renowned artists and local arts and cultural organizations. Tenor Yeghishe Manucharyan and his wife, mezzo-soprano Victoria Avetisyan will perform during the "classical music" portion of the evening, joining soprano Knarik Nerkararyan, violinist Levon Chilingirian, and pianists Lilit Karapetian-Shougarian and Zaven Parsamian.
