Նոյեմբերի 2-ին ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանն ընդունեց ԱՄՆ-ում գործող Սիրիահայերի օգնության հիմնադրամի (SARF) նախագահ Րաֆֆի Քենդիրջյանին: Նախարար Հրանուշ Հակոբյանը ջերմորեն ողջունեց հյուրին՝ արժևորելով Սիրիայում հայ համայնքի պահպանությանն ուղղված ազգանպաստ գործունեությունը և Հայաստան տեղափոխված սիրիահայերին օգնելու նրա պատրաստակամությունը: Նախարարը մասնավորապես նշեց. «Ով ազգի համար գործ է անում, ինձ համար ամենամեծ բարերարն է: Հպարտ եմ, որ այսպիսի մարդիկ կան, որ ապրում են Հայրենիքը, ազգը սիրելով ու նրան ծառայելով: Սիրիահայերը արտակարգ մարդիկ են, աշխատող, ստեղծագործող, համեստ: Այսօր դեռևս լիովին լուծված չեն նրանց բնակարանային և աշխատանքի տեղավորման հարցերը»: ՀՀ սփյուռքի նախարարը ներկայացրեց սիրիահայության հետ տարվող ամենօրյա աշխատանքը, խնդիրները, դժվարությունները: Խոսվեց «Սիրիահայերի հիմնախնդիրները համակարգող կենտրոն» հասարակական կազմակերպության հետևողական և թափանցիկ գործունեության մասին: Րաֆֆի Քենդիրջյանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց ջերմ ընդունելության և գնահատանքի խոսքերի համար: Անդրադառնալով սիրիահայության…

Thank you to all of our donors, supporters, sponsors, and volunteers for standing with our Armenian brothers and sisters in Syria and supporting the Syrian Armenian Relief Fund SARF “Save a Life” Telethon. Over $1.2 million was successfully raised during the SARF Telethon for Armenian families and children who are in urgent need of emergency aid in war torn Syria. These much needed funds will now help support our Syrian Armenian community’s essential needs including water, food, shelter, health, and education. LITTLE ARMENIA – More than $1.2 million was raised during the “Save a Life” telethon on Sunday organized by the SARF–the Syrian-Armenian Relief Fund. The telethon kicked off at 2 p,n. Pacific time and during the course of the six-hour broadcast, community and civic leaders, organizations, schools and other institutions made appeals for assistance for Armenians in the war-torn Syria. The program, which was originating from Horizon Television studios in Little Armenia, was broadcast nationwide on Horizon Armenian Television, US Armenia and ARTN. The Syrian Armenian Relief Fund announces a community rally to raise awareness and aid the Armenian community that’s been victim of the devastating war in Syria. SARF has already organized a “SAVE A LIFE” Telethon for this purpose, on Sunday, February 21, 2016, 2:00 – 8:00 pm. The rally will take place on Sunday, January 24, 2016, right after the Sunday Services, at St. Peter Armenian Church; 17231 Sherman way, Van Nuys, CA 91406.
